Meenchi ladies hostel, for me, is nothing but a home away from home, in the heart of pondicherry. I have stayed there for ten days for an exam purpose and it was by mere luck ended up there. Usually I don't write reviews however good or bad the service/thing is. But this one compels me to as I feel it an obligation to share the warmth of the stay. Kavitha aunty, the warden is a Superwoman turned entrepreneur.The details from my observations and experience are 1. The housing has ac and non AC in affordable price 2.The house is kept tidy, comfort stay is assured 3. Food is tastey and she would feed us as much we want 4. Food is usually veg, two or three days a week you get fish and chicken. And one day biriyani 5. Bru instant coffee two time a day are free 6. She cooks a variety of foods like pulisadam, lemon sadam, prawans roast. (Surprisingly for such mouthwatering rice meals, she priced me very less only) 7.automatic Washing machine is provided 8. Well organised and neat kitchen. Utensils and cookwares are safe and upto standards 9. She is willing to offer extra help, if needed, she helped me with draping saree and even bought jasmine for me 10. Her daughter is also kind and helping. She lended me her scooter for an emergency ride. 11. They respect every religion and people. 12. They joined me to hangout at beach and we made memories with beach walk, beach night songs ets Overally, if u r home sick, u will find this place your dome.. Now you know why I wrote this long review. Thank me later 😊
